Comet came to us on February 14, 2004, she was scheduled for euthanasia, because of a woman with a new boyfriend. She moved out her children and pets so the new couple would no longer be reminded of the past.  Comet was extremely hand shy, which led us to believe she was abused before her disposal.

Within a few weeks, Comet came out of her shell and gladly stepped into the role of Alpha Bitch, and brought all the Meister Boys into line.

She currently spends her days scaring Galen and Lucien, basking in the sun patches and forever waiting for dinner.  She fills her hours with long naps in between.

After several health scares in the past few months, THE FAT DOG IS BACK!!!! AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!

She does the deck stairs when she feels like it, snarls at the boys and dances and hops for her food.  We are so happy that our little chubby has graced our lives and given us many good times over the years.  Were now hoping for a long and dignified retirement for her, it's the least she deserves.
